Poker Run
Join Children’s Harbor Junior Board on August 15 for the Poker Run from 10 AM – 4:30 PM and a Block Party from 2:30 – 5:30 PM!
Gather your friends, visit lake stops, play your hand, and compete for cash prizes — then head back to The Ridge Marina for the Block Party, awards, and celebration.
Enjoy a great day on the water while supporting Children’s Harbor and its mission to strengthen families of seriously ill children through refuge, respite, and resources.

Magic Moments Sporting Clay Shoot
The Annual Children’s Harbor/Magic Moments Sporting Clay Shoot will take place Friday, September 26, 2024 in Alpine, AL. Teams of four will enjoy a half-day of sporting clay shooting (morning or afternoon) through Selwood Farm’s multi-stationed course. A delicious lunch is provided and hundreds of door prizes are given away.

Bruce Pearl Fore the Children Golf Classic
Sold out each year since its inception in 2014, Bruce Pearl’s Fore the Children Golf Classic has now raised more than $1 million towards Children’s Harbor camps for seriously ill children.

UAB Champions for Our Children
Join us at Protective Stadium on October 18, 2025 for the 9th annual UAB Champions for Our Children game on Homecoming Weekend! Each UAB player represents the name of a seriously ill child served by Children’s Harbor on his jersey.
Snapshots with Santa
Capture the Magic of Christmas and Support a Worthy Cause
Santa Claus is making a much-anticipated appearance at Pepper Place! Mark your calendars for the fourth annual Snapshots with Santa fundraiser hosted by the Children’s Harbor Junior Board. This festive event will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Market at Pepper Place.
Bring your whole family, including furry friends, to meet Santa and snap a photo! Not only will you capture the perfect holiday moment, but also contribute to a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Children’s Harbor’s mission to strengthen families of seriously ill children through refuge, respite, and resources.

You can host a third party event to benefit Children’s Harbor. A third party event is planned and executed independently of Children’s Harbor. Before filling out the Event Proposal form linked below, we require that you read our Fundraising Guidelines.
