Clark family makes huge impact as Children's Harbor volunteers

Family Center Becomes Family’s Fun Getaway During Hospital Stay

Since 2005, the Clarks have made a huge impact through volunteering at community events and at the Lake Martin campus. From working at the Thrift Store to volunteer boating to helping with logistics at the Christmas Market and Selwood Clay Shoot to cooking meals for campers, they have done it all and been a huge help to the organization in every endeavor.

“Rendell and Jean Clark are the best volunteers any organization could ever hope to have,” said Myrle Grate, Children's Harbor Chief Executive Officer.

Pictured is Rendell assisting a vent kids camp family on to his pontoon boat for an afternoon ride. Not only does he regularly volunteeer his time and boat for camps, but he also is integral to the success of our “Paddle for a Purpose” event. For the past three years, Rendell and his crew at LMRA have put out buoys for the race.

As one of our newest members to the Anchor Society, Children’s Harbor is beyond honored to have such a benevolent couple as a part of the Children’s Harbor family
