Children’s Harbor benefits from donors who express their generosity in many ways. We welcome gifts of specific items that support the success of our illness campus. We are also able to turn your previously-loved treasures into funds for our supportive programs.

Lake Martin Thrift Store

The Thrift Store on the Lake Martin campus sells donated items and uses the proceeds to fund both of our facilities. Items graciously accepted include:

  • Furniture (Indoor and Outdoor)

  • Household Items

  • Tools

  • Toys

  • Clothing

  • Sporting Equipment

  • Boats

  • Vehicles

  • Weekend Volunteers

Lake Martin Camps

With more than 36 illness-related camps each year, Children’s Harbor has a continuing need for basic housekeeping supplies. Items graciously accepted include:

  • Paper Towels

  • Toilet Paper

  • Pine-Sol

  • Trash Bags (8-, 13- and 55-gallon)

  • Clorox

  • Air Freshener

  • 60 Watt Light Bulbs

  • Dishwashing Liquid

Family Center Library

The library at Family Center provides a place of community and respite to patients and their families. Many patients look forward to "getting away" through a good book, coloring or playing board games. Items graciously accepted include:

Family Center Hair Salon

Family Center provides free haircuts, styles and shampoos to patients and their families, either at Family Center or in the patients room - depending on the need and health of the patient. Items that will help us continue to provide this service include:

  • Head Bands

  • Bows

  • Colored Traditional Elastic Hair Ties and No Crease Hair Ties

  • Plastic Hair Barrettes and Clips

  • Chapstick: Lip Smackers, Burt's Bees, EOS, etc.
