Children’s Harbor is a thriving organization dedicated to serving seriously ill children and their families.

Children’s Harbor offers patients and their families two unique environments — the Children’s Harbor Family Center at Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children in Birmingham and Children’s Harbor at Lake Martin. Both campuses aim to strengthen family bonds and find balance and support during and after hospitalization. All of the services offered at both campuses are provided to families at no cost, thanks to many generous donors and volunteers.

Photography Policy at Lake Martin Campus

Children’s Harbor’s Lake Martin Campus is a private facility, primarily utilized to offer opportunities for respite camp retreats to the seriously ill children and families we serve. All visitors to our campus will need to request and receive permission to be on our premises, including visits for photography. We ask that professional photographers who use our facilities for commercial gain make a suggested $50 donation.

We also have weddings and groups who rent our facilities throughout the year. When our camps are in session or when our facilities are in use by rental groups, there will be no visitors allowed on site.

If you are interested in utilizing our Lake Marin Campus, please fill out the form below to submit your permission request and include as much detailed information as possible.
