LAKE MARTIN, Ala. — Children’s Harbor’s Junior Board is excited to announce the inaugural Children’s Harbor Poker Run at Lake Martin on Saturday, August 15 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting and ending at The Ridge Marina, located at 450 Ridge Marina Way, Alexander City, AL 35010. The cost is $200 per hand with no limits on participation and includes five stops at The Ridge Marina, the Social, Kowaliga Marina, and the Landing. Locations do not have to be visited in any order, and you may participate in the Poker Run by land or boat.
After the Poker Run, the community is invited to a celebratory Block Party and Awards ceremony at The Ridge from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, and Poker Run entry is not necessary to attend. All proceeds from the events will benefit Children’s Harbor.

What is a Poker Run?
Participants will gather their crews and travel by boat to designated stops around Lake Martin, collecting playing cards at each location to build a poker hand. At the end of the day, participants will return to The Ridge Marina, where winning hands (and losing hands!) will be awarded cash prizes during a community celebration and Block Party.
