About the Junior Auxiliary Board of Children’s Harbor

Welcome to the heart of change, where young professionals come together to make a lasting impact. The Junior Auxiliary Board of Children’s Harbor (Junior Board) is a vibrant community of passionate individuals aged 21-40 dedicated to supporting the mission of Children’s Harbor.

The Junior Board is dedicated to supporting Children’s Harbor’s mission to strengthen families of seriously ill children through refuge, respite and resources. We achieve this by actively volunteering, fundraising, networking and community engagement to make a tangible impact in the lives of those we serve.

Established in 2019, our journey took a brief pause during the pandemic. However, 2023 marked a resurgence, with new leadership under Allie and Benjamin Hendrix, our Co-Chairs. We’re ready to lead the way, inspired by a shared commitment to a brighter future.

The Junior Board is not just a group; it’s a force for change. Our objectives include:
1. Advocating for young professionals’ involvement with Children’s Harbor.
2. Being the voice of Children’s Harbor in our communities.
3. Supporting Children’s Harbor with innovative fundraising activities.
4. Nurturing future leaders who understand the diverse needs of the children we serve.
