Church of the Highlands Spa Night at the Family Center

We had a fantastic time creating a "spa" for some very deserving mothers last night, and want you and your team to know how much we appreciate the opportunity. 

We focused on what we could do to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit of women who are taking little, if any, time to focus on themselves during a child's illness. Due to the obvious physical, mental and emotional strain that parents of sick children are under, we wanted to offer a time for some intentional relaxation and restoration to mothers. 

We felt the best way we could provide that was to host a Free Spa Evening where mothers received intensive pampering free of charge in a familiar environment.  We offered the following services:  Manicures, Pedicures, Facials and Hair Cuts/Styles.  (Hair/Facials were done by pros.)  Most women received 2 of the above services.  We also served the mothers dinner/dessert, and gave them a gift at the end of the evening.
