Three internet connected computers are available to children and families so they can check e-mail, do research, or simply relax and play games.

Conference Room
Three private conference areas are available for meetings or conferences.

Family Kitchen
A microwave, refrigerator, tables, and food storage areas are available for children and parents to have a private meal away from the hospital setting. It is also available for small gatherings.

Toddler Play Area
The toddler play area is a well-equipped, safe, fun place for young children to spend time.

Atrium
The lovely entrance into our Family Center doubles as a gathering place for many activities.

Basketball Court
An indoor basketball court provides a place for physical activity and stress relief.

Activities Area
Foosball, air hockey, and video games provide a relaxing diversion for all ages.

Family Resource Room and Lounge Area
The Family Resource Room and Lounge Area is equipped with a television, VCR, sofas, and tables for children and families to relax.

Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is equipped with stationary bicycles, a treadmill, and weights for stress relief and physical activity.

Salon
Looking good is closely linked to feeling good.  The Children ' s Harbor Salon is a place where families can relax and enjoy being pampered. This is a free service to our families.

Library
The Junior League of Birmingham and other donors have provided wonderful books and periodicals that are available for check out or families can lounge and read at the Family Center.
