Purpose
The purpose of our Inservice and Continuing Education Training program is to provide professional development opportunities that enhance the knowledge and skills of staff for working in a multidisciplinary setting. It also allows the staff to develop linkages and networks with other departments and community agencies. Inservice and Continuing Education Training is designed to maximize learning opportunities by fostering and utilizing the knowledge of the entire staff as well as other professionals in the field. We are constantly learning and applying knowledge in order to improve our quality of services, professional ethics and work. Our program allows staff to promote the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the vast challenges of the ever-changing health care system. Providing quality inservice and continuing education is vital to providing quality care to those we serve.

We provide orientation, training and continuing education pertaining to various areas of human development and behavior health including, but not limited to, human behavior, child and adolescent development, family systems, outpatient mental health services and inter-professional collaboration. We are comprised of Licensed Professional Counselors, Clinical and Graduate Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists and Certified Teachers. We are able to provide a range of professional training and counseling services and are proud to have served chronically-ill children and their families with excellent guidance and mental health care since 1995.
