Janet Dunn
Divisional Secretary for Children's Harbor Family Center

Janet Dunn is the Divisional Secretary for Children's Harbor Family Center. She has more than 15 years of secretarial and administrative experience.

"My reason for choosing to work with Children's Harbor is due to my background in Sociology and my love for children," said Janet. Her previous job was Administrative Assistant to Director of the Catholic Diocese where she was employed for over 8 years. "This position taught me access and excel software program and gave me the opportunity to prepare and create data," said Janet. She also worked as a Customer Service Representative for Electronic Data Systems where she developed a strong background in customer service and various software programs.

Janet has an Associate of Arts degree in Secretarial Science (1986) and Sociology (1976) from Lawson State Community College; she also attended the University of Alabama.

Janet has been married to Sylvester Dunn, Sr., for 28 years, and she is the mother of 3 sons. Kevin is a senior at The University of South Alabama, Mobile; Damon is a barber; Sylvester, Jr., is married and lives in Atlanta, GA.
